I've started my drum lessons today in church, with guidance from a pastor.

Now do i realise how much efforts are being put in when it comes to drumming. What am i learning right now (the basics), as compared to the drumming during worships or just plain drumming, is simply heaven and earth. The learning journey will be long and tough but still, since i've taken the first step, there is no backing out or giving up.

lebron (online nick), once again, reminded me of the college bball team.

I admire him for his courage, that even though he knew he don't stand much of a chance to get into the college team next year, he still went ahead and joined their training despite the fact that his efforts may well go down the drain.

What can i say? I don't even dare to take the first step and give it a try.

And i chose to run away from the reality by joining some prominent CCA and telling myself it's better for me. At this point in time, if i say i have no regrets doing so, i'll just be lying to myself.

I could had at least tried and let God decide for me, but i did not.

All these years of training will end in misery and regrets, simply because of the dumb decision i've made months ago. And i have no chance to reverse this decision (unless God intervenes and gives me another chance).

Because i belong to the basketball court, after all. I grew up there and spent much of my years playing.

Never did i know that one day i will be blogging about this day, this day that i truly felt the regrets deep down in my heart, even though i've told myself many times that i will not make any regretful decisions again.

Nevertheless, now that i've promised my commitment to some lame CCA, i will be responsible for my own decisions and not let 2009 go to waste, because i will still give my 100% efforts in all that i do.

Until the day i step down.
